Elbow
Elbow
Elbow injuries can be debilitating, affecting your ability to perform everyday tasks. The elbow is a hinge joint that connects the upper arm bone to the forearm bones, allowing us to move our arms and hands with precision. The complex structure of the elbow joint makes it susceptible to a variety of injuries, ranging from overuse to traumatic injuries.
At our orthopedic practice, we specialize in diagnosing and treating elbow injuries. Whether you’re a professional athlete or a weekend warrior, we’re here to help you get back to your normal routine.

Biceps Tendon Rupture
A biceps tendon rupture is a severe injury that causes sudden pain, a loud “pop,” and weakness in the affected arm. This injury occurs when the biceps tendon tears away from the bone at the elbow joint. Surgery is often recommended to repair the tendon and restore normal function.
Tennis Elbow
Tennis elbow, or lateral epicondylitis, is a condition that causes pain on the outer part of the elbow. It is often caused by overuse of the forearm muscles and tendons, resulting in small tears in the tissue. Symptoms include pain when gripping objects, shaking hands, or turning a doorknob. Treatment may include rest, physical therapy, and medication.
Cubital Tunnel Syndrome
Cubital tunnel syndrome occurs when the ulnar nerve, which runs from the neck to the hand, becomes compressed or irritated at the elbow. This can cause pain, numbness, and tingling in the hand and fingers. Treatment may include bracing, medication, and surgery.
